Task #4 Downloading e-books - 1) IF I were to purchase such a device, after reading Consumer Reports reviews, I would be inclined to purchase the Sony Reader Touch Edition for economy. It's in the $260-$280 range along with the Kindle and Nook, and has similar ratings in such rating categories as Navigation. Readability rates good in all but the Kindle which rates very good. However, purchasing a Kindle means it is not compatible with offerings in the list of the library's downloadable titles. I've tried the Sony models we have on display, plus attended the training sessions with the Sony rep. I'm not entirely happy with the size of the screen, but could live with it.
